The german pink tomatoes aren't so pink., at least not internally. The outer color has some pink on the shoulders of the tomatoes. They are a heirloom variety and very interesting flavor.There is a subtle sweetness to them.

One of my vendors(Mrs. Tucker) has the most incredible heirloom tomatoes today.The variety is German pinks. Look for them on your salads today. I'm having some with breakfast.

It seems like asparagus is on the boards for soup today! Splash is some flecks of red bells, carrots, smoked ham and cream .I'm ready to break for morning coffee and soup and it's not even ready yet! I forgot to start with the chicken stock.
